Our music guest: Peter Montgomery (guitar) & his band
Peter Montgomery is an American guitarist with a very unique guitar style. At age 22 he launched his career as a full time musician working with the NYC Apollo Theater house band and performing and touring. He recorded 2 CDs as a leader, first with saxophonists Kenny Garett and Javon Jackson, and the second CD with several young musicians from Japan and the US. Peter’s unique, original sound comes from his love of many styles of music (jazz, blues, funk, R&B, classical etc.). He lives between Asia and the US, teaching and performing.
